This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use the Stocking application (the "Service") and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

1. Information Collection and Use

Financial and Portfolio Data (Local Storage)

We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal financial data to our servers. Stocking is designed as a privacy-first application. All portfolio information, including stock tickers, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), share quantities, and transaction histories that you enter into the app, is saved locally on your device. We have no access to this information.

Market Data Requests

To provide you with real-time stock and asset prices, the Application makes network requests to our backend servers. These requests are strictly limited to fetching public market data (e.g., retrieving the current price of a specific stock ticker) and are conducted anonymously. They are not tied to any user account or personal identity.

Usage Data and Analytics

We use third-party analytics tools, specifically Google Analytics, to help us understand how the Service is used and to improve the user experience. This Usage Data is collected automatically and anonymously.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), device model, operating system version, the time and date of Your sessions, and diagnostic data regarding app crashes or performance. No personally identifiable information (such as your name, email, or financial data) is collected through these analytics. The application does not require user registration or authentication.

We may employ third-party companies and services to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your personal portfolio data is stored exclusively on your device, you have complete control over its retention. You can permanently delete all your financial data and configurations at any time by simply uninstalling the Stocking application from your device or clearing the app's local storage data via your device settings. Anonymous Usage Data collected via Google Analytics is retained only for as long as is necessary for internal analysis and performance improvements.

4. Security of Your Data

The security of Your data is important to Us. While your financial data remains on your device, we utilize secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all anonymous network requests made to fetch market data. Please remember that no method of electronic storage on a mobile device is 100% secure, and we encourage you to protect your device with a passcode or biometric authentication.

5. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us.
